How is the licensing?
Barivion products are licensed as per a number of devices you want to manage or protect, however, we have this flexibility of offering Perpetual license for larger clients, or clients looking for more features and buy the bundle or full features product.
Can I have Full Demo License?
Yes, we always believe testing our products within your environment is very important, we want to make sure we have fixed all the challenges before you purchase the product.
How does our patch management integrated in monitoring work?
a.) WSUS server in the network available
If a WSUS server is present in the network, the updates of the discontinued products (different OS, MS Office products, …) downloaded and released in the WSUS are evaluated.
b.) There is no WSUS server in the network
If there is no WSUS server on the network, the computers will check for available updates in the original Windows Update Service (“online”).
c.) As a special case, it is possible that both WSUS and the Windows Update Service are used in a network (eg separation of the update installation for servers and workstations).
d.) Both, WSUS and Windows Update Service, fill with the available updates a Windows-owned library (WUAPILib). This library is requested by our patch management. This ensures that our patch management only offers the updates that you make available on your systems via the implemented update mechanisms.
Is ther are any training how to use the solution?
Yes, you will receive an online training for a limited time for FREE as well as access to our user manuals and guides, if you need more in-depth training we can arrange that too, however, our solution is very easy to use.
